Billing instructions for state funded abortions are
already out.
Three dates are coming up fast in the
fight over abortion pills and taxpayer money. Here’s your recap.
The FDA owes Rep. Roy answers Tuesday
Rep. Chip Roy gave the FDA until
Tuesday, October 27, to answer his questions about its review of the
abortion pill. In an October 7 court filing, the FDA said it expects
study results in mid December and a final report no later than March
2027. It is also reviewing the safety program for the drug, including
whether to restore in person dispensing.
Your tax dollars and abortion
The Commonwealth’s brief in the
taxpayer funded abortion appeal at the Pennsylvania Supreme Court is
due Friday, October 30. Meanwhile, Medicaid and CHIP plans
have already put out billing instructions for state funded abortions
starting December 1.
The abortion amendment waits in the Senate
HB 1957, the abortion amendment, passed
the House 102 to 101 and is still in Senate State Government. If the
Senate doesn’t act by November 30, it dies.
